Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or more years old, have certain qualifying disabilities, or have End Stage Renal Disease.
Medicare is divided into four parts, commonly referred to as Part A, B, C, and D, providing hospital insurance, medical insurance, Medicare Advantage Plans, and prescription drug coverage.
Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facilites, hospice care, and some home health care.
Part B covers certain doctor services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventative services.
Part C is a medical plan offered by private companies (contracted with Medicare) to offer you Part A and Part B benefits.
Part D adds prescription drug coverage.
The right Medicare plan and options are different for each individual. You can search for plans available in your area and filter by price, product type, or cost.
The experts at My Benefit Advisor are available to answer any questions you have and help you select the right plan. They can also guide you through the entire enrollment process to ensure your applications are completed correctly and submitted on time.
